The service

SafeOrScamCheck, operated by Martin Lesko, provides automated warning-signal checks for website links, QR destinations, text, TXT and EML files. Use the service only with material you are entitled to submit. Do not submit passwords, private keys or other secrets.

Payment before results

Risk results are available after a confirmed payment or using previously purchased credits. Packs are one-time purchases: 10 checks for $1.99, 30 for $4.99, or 100 for $12.99 USD. There is no recurring subscription. Review the final amount and currency shown by Stripe before paying. Each successfully completed check uses one credit. Invalid inputs and checks that fail before a result is saved do not use a credit. Retrying the same pending request does not use another credit.

Credit access

Credits are tied to your browser recovery code. Save it using My checks. It can restore your remaining credits on another device. Anyone with that code can use your credits. Do not share it. If you lose access, contact support with your payment receipt; recovery may require proof of purchase.

What the score means

A percentage is a weighted warning-signal score, not a probability or guarantee that something is fraudulent or safe. Results can miss scams or flag legitimate content. This service does not provide malware scanning, identity verification, blacklist verification, or inspection of the destination page. Registration information may be unavailable. Always independently verify important requests before sending money or information.

Payment issues and refunds

If a payment is confirmed but credits do not appear, reload the return page and contact support before paying again. For duplicate charges, missing delivery or a refund request, use the support form and include your Stripe receipt reference. Do not send full card details. Requests are reviewed against the transaction and service usage. Nothing in these terms limits mandatory consumer rights, including any applicable withdrawal or refund rights.

Availability and responsible use

Service availability and third-party registration data are not guaranteed. Do not abuse the service, interfere with others, or attempt to access another wallet. Information is provided as decision support; it does not replace independent verification or professional advice. These terms do not exclude liabilities or rights that applicable law does not permit us to exclude.
